Some seem to refer to potential future characters, others are variations of calls for in-game characters.
There are a lot of unused announcer calls in the game. The code for the shop is still in the game's data, under a function called Nick.Unlocks. There was intended to be a shop system where you could purchase various items such as characters, stages, and even alternate costumes. This is the only remnant of the item left in the game's files, outside of voice clips involving it being used by characters. In the game files, an image of one of the background employees on the Glove World stage called "FishingHook" can be found. Until an update on June 2, 2022, the game had no items, but several unfinished assets are still in the code that were left over from previous builds.
